School Hours
Classes begin at 8.50
Morning Interval is from 11.00-11.40
Lunch interval is from 1.10-1.50
Classes end at 2.50
Please bring with you your child's
* Birth certificate
* Immunisation records
* Student visa/parent work visa, or other relevant
documentation, if you not yeat a New Zealand citizen.
School Uniform
Glenavon is a uniform school. Correct uniform is to be worn at all times. In terms 1 and 4 school sun hats must be worn whenever students are outside. Uniforms can be purchased from Postie Plus, Lynmall.
Donations and Fees
Each family is asked to donate $20.00 per year to the school.
Year 7 and 8 students attend extension technology classes which cost $10.00 per term. This is a fee and must be paid!
Staitonery can be bought at the school for very reasonable rates.
School trips need to be paid at the time of the trip on a user pays basis, with cost being evenly distributed to all students
Consent for educational trips is obtained in the first school newsletter each year.

At the end of Term 2 all students' work will be compared with National Standards. You will recieve this report the first week of Term 3, followed by an interview with you, your child and classroom teacher.
