Deputy Principal's Blog..... Week 1, Term 3.

Welcome back to another term at our AWESOME school - Glenavon!!

I hope you all had a good holiday - my family and I went to Samoa for 8 days and had a blast, the weather was hot every day and we spent the days swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing!! We stayed at Aggie Greys resort in Apia and it is a great place to stay - the people were so friendly and kind and they really looked after us. My daughter Ella just loved it  - especially the swimming everyday. It was really sad to come back to the cold here in Auckland - but I'm sure we'll go back again one day and enjoy the great Samoan hospitality!!!!

It was great to see all of the smiling faces at school this morning , staff and students. The students in Room 2 are lucky to have  Mr Nair ( from Auckland University ) working with us for the next 5 weeks. A BIG welcome Mr Nair - we just know you'll love it here!!

Anyway, that's all for this week - have a great first week back, I'll report back in next week!!
